But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toro Martínez couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, One Piece FC's Mustafa Emre De La Rosa-Mora got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toro Martínez in the 8th minute of play forced One Piece FC's goalkeeper David Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, One Piece FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ederono Eibar to maneuver through the defense. Jairo de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. The corner led to One Piece FC's Mustafa Emre De La Rosa-Mora getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some careless play in the One Piece FC defense, Toro Martínez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Raya. The One Piece FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Raya should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo de Azevedo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Raya saved One Piece FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, One Piece FC's Mustafa Emre De La Rosa-Mora got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 23rd minute of play forced One Piece FC's goalkeeper David Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, One Piece FC's Salvator Sala made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonidas Barrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Jairo de Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Raya was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jairo de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buenaventura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Raya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonidas Barrera came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by One Piece FC's Emiliano Rivera. But to his dismay, Emiliano Rivera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Emre De La Rosa-Mora. In the 43rd minute Jairo de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Raya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Jairo de Azevedo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Leonidas Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Rivera in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jairo de Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Buenaventura FC's André-Pierre Gignac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Raya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 58 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ederono Eibar came free, but Leonidas Barrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in One Piece FC's zone, Ensar Irgatbaşı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Raya came out of the goal and Ensar Irgatbaşı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Salvator Sala made a precise shot to the right of Leonidas Barrera. Buenaventura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 66th minute of play forced One Piece FC's goalkeeper David Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonidas Barrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a left leg Leonidas Barrera saved Buenaventura FC from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Emiliano Rivera notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera. Leonidas Barrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jairo de Azevedos short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got David Raya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leonidas Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Rivera in the 88th minute of the match. One Piece FC's David Raya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save One Piece FC from getting a goal against them. Jairo de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. David Raya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenaventura FC. Jairo de Azevedo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-4 to the left of a surprised David Raya 97 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
