Jesus Abaurre scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Ibarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Ibarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dolfos Abenda in the 15th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Prejun Abendano came free, but Luis Ibarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kalatakaya F.C. getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rolando Rea hit a great ball. Jonathan Abecia hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevez Abajas in the 25th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Ibarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Abajas got free with Zxavian Abeitia in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Kalatakaya F.C.'s Aaron Abascal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zxavian Abeitia. That made the score 1-3 after 28 minutes of play. The supporters of El Pulpo Paceño booed when Kalatakaya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Rea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estevez Abajas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Ibarra. Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Zxavian Abeitia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Fernández. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolfos Abenda in the 44th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Ibarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Prejun Abendano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Ibarra. Kalatakaya F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prejun Abendano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After the first half El Pulpo Paceño were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prejun Abendano to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Jesus Abaurre took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Luis Ibarra to make any attempt to save it. Luis Ibarra was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Estevez Abajas. When Loreto Abaurre fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalatakaya F.C.'s protests and gave Loreto Abaurre a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Loreto Abaurre got a free kick in the 59th minute. Estevez Abajas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Ibarra. Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Loreto Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Zxavian Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Díaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
