Eric Duarte was out of position in the 2 minute of play, and Txindoki Ameda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Txindoki Ameda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some careless play in the LinuX F.C. defense, Txindoki Ameda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Duarte. The LinuX F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Duarte should have stopped the shot. Checa Peñas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Eric Duarte made a huge save. Everardo Maruri kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Beto Aguilar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cresconio Carreño showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eric Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Txindoki Ameda in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Chus Carreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txindoki Ameda got free with Eric Duarte in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Rainerio Uria. Everardo Maruri hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the match Jorge Padilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cresconio Carreño skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute, Warner Loria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cresconio Carreño was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Eric Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Txindoki Ameda went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte got control of the ball when Txindoki Ameda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes LinuX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Padilla. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Adolfo Alpizar put in a rough tackle. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LinuX F.C.! Checa Peñas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Warner Loria was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Deportivo ScrugenFC booed when LinuX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Padilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Txindoki Ameda scored 5-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the LinuX F.C. defense, Checa Peñas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Duarte. The LinuX F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Duarte should have stopped the shot. Eric Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainerio Uria, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Checa Peñas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Checa Peñas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Chus Carreira made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eric Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Checa Peñas in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txindoki Ameda in the 83rd minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Eric Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, LinuX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rainerio Uria came free, but Eric Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Checa Peñas went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the game, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Chus Carreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo ScrugenFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
