Spectators: 208 (Terracing: 156, Seating: 48, VIP seats: 4) Claretiano FC's Ralondo Bergada started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when André-Pierre Gignac got free with Bartuelo Cisneros in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonidas Barrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Beitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 minutes, Andrés Chavez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buenaventura FC and the Claretiano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. André-Pierre Gignac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Bartuelo Cisneros made a huge save. After 25 played minutes Claretiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaufred Balmaceda. André-Pierre Gignac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, André-Pierre Gignac made a precise shot to the right of Bartuelo Cisneros. Claretiano FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Leonidas Barrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Beitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Roger Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartuelo Cisneros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Herminio Beitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonidas Barrera. Buenaventura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Beitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André-Pierre Gignac was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, André-Pierre Gignac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaufred Balmaceda during the 52nd minute. Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Buenaventura FC from getting a goal against them. Miguel Urane hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Elias Benavides kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Amadeo Crisol notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera. Leonidas Barrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute, Berbiz Cal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Claretiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Beitia. Bartuelo Cisneros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André-Pierre Gignac went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute Gaufred Balmaceda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonidas Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrés Chavez got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
