LinuX F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mero Perpiñán was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some careless play in the LinuX F.C. defense, Rodriguez Baptiste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Duarte. The LinuX F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Duarte should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 24 in the game by Warner Loria from a close distance when the talented Inge Tuero managed to make a qualified save. Cusco FC's players were relieved. Inge Tuero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Keylor Cubero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 26 minute of play. Cusco FC's Inge Tuero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cusco FC from getting a goal against them. Inge Tuero made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Keylor Cubero sent off a good shot on target. Warner Loria's late challenge caught a Cusco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of LinuX F.C. booed when Cusco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguez Baptiste didn't get a good kick on the ball.
