Cresconio Carreño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralondo Bergada in the 45th minute of the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Checa Peñas made the kick off in the second half. When Severiano Mulas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. If Herminio Beitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, Claretiano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Valcarce to maneuver through the defense. Berbiz Cal kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Checa Peñas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartuelo Cisneros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Claretiano FC defense, Chus Carreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartuelo Cisneros. The Claretiano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartuelo Cisneros should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Claretiano FC's Honorio Valcarce got a free kick in the 89th minute. Txindoki Ameda struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Bartuelo Cisneros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo ScrugenFC. Berbiz Cal's late challenge caught a Deportivo ScrugenFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berbiz Cal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Berbiz Cal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goalkeeper Bartuelo Cisneros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Txindoki Ameda. The Claretiano FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo ScrugenFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
