The Todos al Fondo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Agapito Payet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolás Guerrero in the 11th minute. Real Madrid de Guatemala's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolás Guerrero in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Todos al Fondo's Agapito Payet got control of the ball when Carmelo Sifon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Todos al Fondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frasco Rolan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Todos al Fondo booed when Real Madrid de Guatemala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sasho Inkyov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agapito Payet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Santamaria in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes Real Madrid de Guatemala got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Torres. Sílvio Luiz Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspard Gil in the 36th minute of play. Agapito Payet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Sifon in the 40th minute. Alexander Torres hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Todos al Fondo's zone, Nicolás Guerrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agapito Payet came out of the goal and Nicolás Guerrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Todos al Fondo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Palet to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Avendaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Goiano having to interfere. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sílvio Luiz Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Real Madrid de Guatemala from getting a goal against them. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Palet in the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid de Guatemala's zone, Gaspard Gil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luiz Goiano came out of the goal and Gaspard Gil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmelo Sifon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agapito Payet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Todos al Fondo got a freekick which was hit by Gaspard Gil. Carmelo Sifon took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agapito Payet. Agapito Payet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sílvio Luiz Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorbea Helguera in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dida Campidelis during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Real Madrid de Guatemala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Todos al Fondo booed when Real Madrid de Guatemala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
