Despite this José Maria Buljubasich quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspard Gil in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Buljubasich saved Club Atlético Lea Papá from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Veliz in the 25th minute of play forced Todos al Fondo's goalkeeper Agapito Payet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Ronaldo Palet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Maria Buljubasich. The goal made the score 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Veliz to strike the kick off in the second half. Todos al Fondo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
