In the 9th minute Henrique Lampez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Peña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Águila's Ismael Peña got a free kick in the 9th minute. Reimundo Olarria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Peña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reimundo Olarria went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 20 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund's Reimundo Olarria made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Peña was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardo Peña was a little too slow when Reimundo Olarria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. Ulizes Pruano's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Águila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulizes Pruano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Elazar Villametide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elazar Villametide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardo Peña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roi Seseña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Mario Leguizamon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Águila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Javiero Menendez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Club Deportivo Águila's Mario Leguizamon tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Club Deportivo Águila getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mario Leguizamon hit a great ball. Esteban Pérez charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ricardo Peña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Lampez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

In the 51st minute, Elazar Villametide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Deportivo Águila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reimundo Olarria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Elazar Villametide scored 6-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Peña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 67 minutes, Elazar Villametide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elazar Villametide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 minutes, Alberto Pineda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Águila and the Borussia Dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. 76 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Reimundo Olarria came free, but Ricardo Peña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elazar Villametide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bermudo Mestre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Leguizamon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-2 in the 82 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Elazar Villametide made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Peña. Club Deportivo Águila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. When Fidel Uranga fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Águila's protests and gave Fidel Uranga a yellow card for diving instead. Fidel Uranga kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Deportivo Águila for a fine match.
