In the 3rd match minute, CS La Libertad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İbrahim Efe Ergener to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Felipe Porras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sílvio Luiz Goiano. Felipe Porras showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Elias Carballo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CS La Libertad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Elias Carballo took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Sílvio Luiz Goiano to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Guevara in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Volio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Elias Carballo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Porras got free with Sílvio Luiz Goiano in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Sifon came free, but Omar Volio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Volio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Sifon in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Nicolás Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Volio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Volio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Santamaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Volio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Bermudez in the 56th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Elias Carballo sped through Real Madrid de Guatemala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sílvio Luiz Goiano. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Araya, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Sílvio Luiz Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Araya in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Carballo in the 91st minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luiz Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Bermudez's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Cristian Santamaria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CS La Libertad had won after a very even match.
