Frans Escajadillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but José Maria Buljubasich made a huge save. Club Atlético Lea Papá's José Maria Buljubasich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Lea Papá from getting a goal against them. Ari Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Veliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Veliz took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ari Strömberg. Ari Strömberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Veliz came free, but Ari Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izydor Czubski's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Lea Papá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Izydor Czubski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Izydor Czubski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Alejo Veliz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Ari Strömberg. Ari Strömberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Izydor Czubski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Maria Buljubasich came out and tried to block the shot, but Izydor Czubski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 39th minute. Washington Camacho struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ari Strömberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Lea Papá. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Alejo Veliz put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ari Strömberg.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejo Veliz was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kuskatan C.F.'s zone, Alejo Veliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ari Strömberg came out of the goal and Alejo Veliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético Lea Papá's José Maria Buljubasich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Escajadillo in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Leonardo Gil got a free kick in the 59th minute. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Walmir Fantini was substituted for Raúl Pimentel. After 73 minutes of play, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Frans Escajadillo made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Maria Buljubasich was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77thth minute of the game Marco Ruben who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Lea Papá's José Maria Buljubasich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Lea Papá defense, Marco Ruben kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Buljubasich. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Buljubasich should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Chelaru in the 85th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper José Maria Buljubasich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ari Strömberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Veliz's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Washington Camacho fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Lea Papá's protests and gave Washington Camacho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Kuskatan C.F. booed when Club Atlético Lea Papá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Chelaru came free, but José Maria Buljubasich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Lea Papá walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
