In the 15th minute Club Atlético Lea Papá were awarded a corner. Douglas Ruiz went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcelo Carracedo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. José Maria Buljubasich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Porras in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, CS La Libertad's Gabriel Araya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Maria Buljubasich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 26 minutes into the game, Lyubcho Mangalski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CS La Libertad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Lea Papá the free kick. In the 26th match minute, CS La Libertad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyubcho Mangalski to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Carballo came free, but José Maria Buljubasich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Atlético Lea Papá getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Douglas Ruiz hit a great ball. José Maria Buljubasich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Carballo in the 36th minute of play. After the first half CS La Libertad were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

CS La Libertad's Omar Volio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Veliz in the 57th minute of play. Edgar Bermudez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but José Maria Buljubasich firmly grabbed it by the left post. José Maria Buljubasich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Carballo in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Lyubcho Mangalski. Omar Volio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Veliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Alejo Veliz made a precise shot to the right of Omar Volio. CS La Libertad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. CS La Libertad's Lyubcho Mangalski got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Lyubcho Mangalski off the ground. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when CS La Libertad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyubcho Mangalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Leonardo Gil quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elias Carballo, made in the 76th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Veliz in the 79th minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Omar Volio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Volio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Veliz went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. CS La Libertad's Omar Volio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Veliz in the 85th minute of play. Edgar Bermudez struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. José Maria Buljubasich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CS La Libertad. When Facundo Mallo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Lea Papá's protests and gave Facundo Mallo a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Alejo Veliz sped through CS La Libertad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Omar Volio.
