Xabier Barrios was slow to take the kick. During this time Fútbol Club Insaar's players had a chance to rest. Fútbol Club Insaar's Xabier Barrios was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lesardo Abadie in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 10 minutes, Cosme Abecia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu and the Fútbol Club Insaar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Cosme Abecia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Alvaro Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lesardo Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers César Melgarejo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Olivarez saved Fútbol Club Insaar from getting behind. Anier Abeijon charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Abeijon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anier Abeijon kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Facundo Carvallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lesardo Abadie having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Cosme Abecia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fútbol Club Insaar's Roman Olivarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Fútbol Club Insaar from getting a goal against them. After 28 minutes, Facundo Carvallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fútbol Club Insaar and the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pepsi Fuchibol Clu booed when Fútbol Club Insaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the last second Roman Olivarez throw himself and got hold of the ball when César Melgarejo in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 31 minutes Fútbol Club Insaar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferdinand Abajas who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ferdinand Abajas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roman Olivarez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. César Melgarejo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Roman Olivarez 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Fútbol Club Insaar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ordono Abaurre fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ivan Da Silva hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Facundo Carvallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lesardo Abadie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Fútbol Club Insaar's goalkeeper Roman Olivarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Abajas. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César Melgarejo made a kick off. If Ordono Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ordono Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Pepsi Fuchibol Clu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ordono Abaurre couldn't finish the play. Phelipe Gorostiza kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fútbol Club Insaar were furious when Samuel Lorenzo was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fútbol Club Insaar! When Alvaro Peralta fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fútbol Club Insaar's protests and gave Alvaro Peralta a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Peralta kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Roman Olivarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Melgarejo in the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Fútbol Club Insaar defense, César Melgarejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Olivarez. The Fútbol Club Insaar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Olivarez should have stopped the shot. Roman Olivarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Melgarejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Melgarejo in the 85th minute of play forced Fútbol Club Insaar's goalkeeper Roman Olivarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Casado Bodegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Ordono Abaurre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Roman Olivarez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Jorge Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu fully deserved thier win.
