After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Nicolás Guerrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bermudo Mestre came out of the goal and Nicolás Guerrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Borussia Dortmund's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Nicolás Guerrero scored to the left of an out of position Bermudo Mestre, making the score, 2-0. In the 19th minute, Nicolás Guerrero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bermudo Mestre. The goal made the score 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Salazar in the 27th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Bermudo Mestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luiz Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elazar Villametide, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Demesio Tarapiella kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Carmelo Sifon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
