An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Porras in the 36th minute of play forced Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Lesardo Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lesardo Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, CS La Libertad's Omar Volio got control of the ball when Jorge Abar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Araya received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lesardo Abadie came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Araya slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CS La Libertad had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
