When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mitxel Abella made a kick off. After some careless play in the Munat Tayka defense, Cebo Morejon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Firme Abaunza. The Munat Tayka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Firme Abaunza should have stopped the shot. After 60 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Cabrera. Munat Tayka's Ruperto Abeitia got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Cordarrol Tama ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Firme Abaunza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mitxel Abella got free with Filomeno Salgueiro in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mitxel Abella took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filomeno Salgueiro. Filomeno Salgueiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Olimpia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rico Abad was slow to take the kick. During this time Munat Tayka's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rico Abad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Olimpia's Filomeno Salgueiro did a great save. Mitxel Abella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Filomeno Salgueiro made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliazar Salantes during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
