Firme Abastas lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 3 played minutes Deportivo Empate got a freekick which was hit by Firme Abastas. Amador Abenda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pitin Baños made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magdaleno Abello in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magdaleno Abello during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Deportivo Empate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magdaleno Abello to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Deportivo Empate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Abecia to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Magdaleno Abello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pitin Baños was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 31 minutes of play, ALIANZA 1901's Gartzi Domingo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cordairo Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deportivo Empate's Cordairo Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porfirio Regulez in the 33rd minute of play. Pitin Baños showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Abecia in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Vicente Abecia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Empate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Gustavo-Hernán Torrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gartzi Domingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pitin Baños made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magdaleno Abello in the 52nd minute of play. Magdaleno Abello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pitin Baños tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Empate's Vicente Abecia got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pitin Baños showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magdaleno Abello in the 67th minute of the match. Pitin Baños stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Abenda's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Pitin Baños made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magdaleno Abello in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Abecia in the 81st minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Pitin Baños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gartzi Domingo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Deportivo Empate getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Amador Abenda hit a great ball.
