The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Saborio in the 5th minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Ximenes Barnechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Vilchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rius Vivar in the 9th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Alianza Trujillo's Rius Vivar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Federico Vilchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rius Vivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Inacio Trevijano scored 3-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Vilchez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alianza Trujillo's Ximenes Barnechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Araya in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th play minute Rius Vivar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Federico Vilchez. 4-0. In the 33rd minute, SAPRIMECKBEL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Inacio Trevijano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 36th minute, Alianza Trujillo's Turi Sendin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Federico Vilchez. Federico Vilchez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. If Turi Sendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SAPRIMECKBEL's Federico Vilchez got control of the ball when Inacio Trevijano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Federico Vilchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turi Sendin in the 41st minute of play. Federico Vilchez came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alianza Trujillo's Inacio Trevijano. But to his dismay, Inacio Trevijano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Federico Vilchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rius Vivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute, Rius Vivar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza Trujillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Federico Vilchez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inacio Trevijano succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 12-0. After 78 minutes, Euloxu Seoane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alianza Trujillo and the SAPRIMECKBEL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Federico Vilchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inacio Trevijano in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Dolcet Bevia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza Trujillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. When Guillermo Araya fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAPRIMECKBEL's protests and gave Guillermo Araya a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, SAPRIMECKBEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Araya to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Rius Vivar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alianza Trujillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rius Vivar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Alianza Trujillo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
