In the 22nd minute, Sindo Bacete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute of the match, Chinto Gala got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marco Pedriza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 28 minutes of play, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Fabián Camarasa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Campos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 minutes, Zosimo Balcells mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alas de Júpiter and the RACIN DE CHAWEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Pedriza made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Chinto Gala sent off a good shot on target. Jose-Antonio Cifuentes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Lucio Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uhin Pais in the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Alas de Júpiter made a substitution. Telmo Zarra replaced Belarmino Feria. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabián Camarasa to strike the kick off in the second half. The Alas de Júpiter fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Alas de Júpiter's Chinto Gala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. RACIN DE CHAWEN's Marco Pedriza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zosimo Balcells in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Franco Babia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chinto Gala in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Pedriza saved RACIN DE CHAWEN from getting behind. Telmo Zarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Pedriza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Zarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Lillo charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Lillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alas de Júpiter booed when RACIN DE CHAWEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Lillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Telmo Zarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
