When Julián Paris came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Fetiyerd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julián Paris couldn't finish the play. Fetiyerd's Pere Fuentes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Fetiyerd from getting a goal against them. Pere Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Morales in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Marcos Villalcazar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pere Fuentes. The goal made the score 1-0. Marcos Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pere Fuentes having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Fetiyerd's goalkeeper Pere Fuentes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Asier Vidal. If Alonso Salazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Firman Salan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pere Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Morales in the 35th minute of play. Fetiyerd's Sergio Encina got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Candido Bergada struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Lucas Sabina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fetiyerd. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Firman Salan to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Villalcazar in the 53rd minute of play forced Fetiyerd's goalkeeper Pere Fuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pere Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Morales in the 58th minute of play. Pere Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firman Salan in the 64th minute of play. C.D. Ciudad de Soria were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Fetiyerd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Platon Pedraza took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Villalcazar in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pere Fuentes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pere Fuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Villalcazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Pere Fuentes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Villalcazar's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute of the match, Sergio Encina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucas Sabina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pere Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Morales in the 75th minute of play. Lucas Sabina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Salazar in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Lucas Sabina got control of the ball when Sergio Encina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucas Sabina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzo Baltanas in the 84th minute of the match. Hernán Novo charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernán Novo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fetiyerd getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hernán Novo hit a great ball. Fetiyerd made a substitution. Rafael Madariaga replaced Alonso Salazar. After 91 played minutes Fetiyerd got a freekick which was hit by Hernán Novo. 94 minutes into the match, Fetiyerd's goal looked a bit too open when Jordi Morales came free, but Pere Fuentes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rafael Madariaga fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fetiyerd's protests and gave Rafael Madariaga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fetiyerd getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rafael Madariaga hit a great ball. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
