The supporters of Murcia Promesas booed when Sobrecastell UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edur Tarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Murcia Promesas's goalkeeper Aya Riells had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richie Vagrande. Tome Bencoiechea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carolo Cruz went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kiko Ponce De Leon took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aya Riells. Aya Riells dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perico Urruti to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd match minute, Sobrecastell UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Flores to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Carolo Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murcia Promesas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sobrecastell UD the free kick. Carolo Cruz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Carolo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aya Riells breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Murcia Promesas booed when Sobrecastell UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Ponce De Leon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Kiko Ponce De Leon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aya Riells was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Ponce De Leon in the 88th minute of play forced Murcia Promesas's goalkeeper Aya Riells to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aya Riells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Ponce De Leon in the 92nd minute of the match. Murcia Promesas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
