Baudilio Andres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barea Martinez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Ucero in the 17th minute of play forced Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Barea Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ildefonso Ucero in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barea Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Rey Northe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barea Martinez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rey Northe in the 24th minute of play forced Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Barea Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Rey Northe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barea Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rey Northe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barea Martinez having to interfere. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Baudilio Andres got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barea Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rey Northe in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Rey Northe made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Sobrecastell UD's goal looked a bit too open when Rey Northe came free, but Barea Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Ildefonso Ucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barea Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Baudilio Andres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Poli Rienda to make the kick off. Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Ucero in the 56th minute of play. Rey Northe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Barea Martinez came out and tried to block the shot, but Rey Northe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 59th minute. Rey Northe in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Barea Martinez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Rosén in the 65th minute of play forced Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Barea Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rey Northe got free with Barea Martinez in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sobrecastell UD getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gilberto Bodelon hit a great ball. When Josias Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sobrecastell UD's protests and gave Josias Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. Barea Martinez made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Cugat Marines sent off a good shot on target. Gilberto Bodelon charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Bodelon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
