Ciudad de Soria's Marcos Villalcazar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Barea Martinez. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Barea Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugutz Albizua in the 5th minute of the match. Barea Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firman Salan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciudad de Soria were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Sobrecastell UD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Platon Pedraza took the corner. The corner led C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Platon Pedraza to fire away a dangerous shot which Barea Martinez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cebrián Sans in the 45th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cebrián Sans kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Barea Martinez. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Poli Rienda made a kick off. Barea Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugutz Albizua, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Sobrecastell UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edur Tarin to maneuver through the defense. Telesforo Casas charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Telesforo Casas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.D. Ciudad de Soria booed when Sobrecastell UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telesforo Casas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barea Martinez came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Marcos Villalcazar. But to his dismay, Marcos Villalcazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Barea Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firman Salan in the 67th minute of the match. Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cebrián Sans in the 70th minute of play. Firman Salan took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barea Martinez. Barea Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ugutz Albizua in the 76th minute of play. When Marcos Villalcazar came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the C.D. Ciudad de Soria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Villalcazar couldn't finish the play. Barea Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firman Salan in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Cebrián Sans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barea Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Ugutz Albizua made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barea Martinez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute Marcos Villalcazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barea Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barea Martinez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cebrián Sans went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score.
