Sancho Alavedra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sancho Alavedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Simonsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Sancho Alavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Simonsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pedro Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, C.F Intercity's goal looked a bit too open when Dolfo Cienfuegos came free, but Pablo-Enrique Ibanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Ona Somrient FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolfo Cienfuegos to maneuver through the defense. Sancho Alavedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Rodriguez in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Vadillos in the 25th minute of play forced C.F Intercity's goalkeeper Pablo-Enrique Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Saturnin Font had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C.F Intercity's Pedro Rodriguez got a free kick in the 29th minute. C.F Intercity's Pablo-Enrique Ibanez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save C.F Intercity from getting a goal against them. The supporters of C.F Intercity booed when Ona Somrient FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepito Palencia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Siniša Mihajlović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancho Alavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xalo Arraz in the 43rd minute of play forced C.F Intercity's goalkeeper Pablo-Enrique Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sancho Alavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnin Font, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes C.F Intercity got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Rodriguez. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tito Vadillos made the kick off in the second half. Pablo-Enrique Ibanez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tito Vadillos went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sancho Alavedra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Rodriguez in the 59th minute. After 59 played minutes Ona Somrient FC got a freekick which was hit by Xalo Arraz. Ona Somrient FC's Albert Duarte was substituted for Tomi Bencoiechea. In the 60th match minute, Ona Somrient FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xalo Arraz to maneuver through the defense. Allan Simonsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 minutes of play, Ona Somrient FC's Tito Vadillos made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo-Enrique Ibanez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Siniša Mihajlović sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Sancho Alavedra threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Siniša Mihajlović this time. After 76 played minutes C.F Intercity got a freekick which was hit by Allan Simonsen. In the 77th minute Tito Vadillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo-Enrique Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Duarte hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Sancho Alavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Simonsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Siniša Mihajlović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pepito Palencia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pablo-Enrique Ibanez. C.F Intercity's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to C.F Intercity getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jon-Andoni Goicoechea hit a great ball. Sancho Alavedra didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
