Henry Noya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xano Odín was the one to do the kick off. When Diego Gonzáles fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Maravilla's protests and gave Diego Gonzáles a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atlético Maravilla's Diego Gonzáles got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Raúl Gasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cloyo Nafría tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xano Odín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cloyo Nafría having to interfere. Raúl Gasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Cloyo Nafría made a huge save. Cordaro Viqueira scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siro Casillas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raúl Gasso came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cloyo Nafría could save by the left post. Xano Odín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cloyo Nafría having to interfere. Henry Noya struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Siro Casillas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Maravilla. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
