In the 32ndth minute of the game Coronel Andres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aysouraguán's Baldemer Sevilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Aysouraguán defense, Coronel Andres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldemer Sevilla. The Aysouraguán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldemer Sevilla should have stopped the shot. Şenol Güneş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seve Higuera in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Aysouraguán getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Benvido Santalla hit a great ball. Coronel Andres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Baldemer Sevilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seve Higuera was the one to do the kick off.
