In the 7th minute, Elvis Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arxel Pareja kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Girona FC's Leo Dobale got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, SISTRELLS's Charles-Henri Dutto got a free kick in the 12th minute. Leobardo Aguilo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arxel Pareja in the 12th minute. SISTRELLS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvis Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arxel Pareja came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leobardo Aguilo could save by the left post. After 26 played minutes SISTRELLS got a freekick which was hit by Antxo Nueva. After a defensive mix-up in SISTRELLS's zone, Reynaldo Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leobardo Aguilo came out of the goal and Reynaldo Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Llorian Casals sped through Girona FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toni Vera. After a rather tough play, SISTRELLS's Asier Checa got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, SISTRELLS's Antxo Nueva got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Reynaldo Gimenez, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Dalmu Nueva's late challenge caught a Girona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmu Nueva helped the player get up and apologised. After 50 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SISTRELLS! Leobardo Aguilo had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Oriol Azofra's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Oriol Azofra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leobardo Aguilo. SISTRELLS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oriol Azofra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Girona FC's Belisario Llorente got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leobardo Aguilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arxel Pareja, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. SISTRELLS's Leobardo Aguilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriol Azofra in the 62nd minute of play. Erlantz Cienfuegos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Leobardo Aguilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oriol Azofra, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Toni Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asier Checa went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arxel Pareja in the 70th minute of play forced SISTRELLS's goalkeeper Leobardo Aguilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Girona FC's Toni Vera got control of the ball when Asier Checa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toni Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asier Checa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. SISTRELLS's Asier Checa got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, SISTRELLS's goal looked a bit too open when Arxel Pareja came free, but Leobardo Aguilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, SISTRELLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asier Checa to maneuver through the defense. Toni Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asier Checa in the 90th minute of the match. Leobardo Aguilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arxel Pareja went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Many of SISTRELLS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SISTRELLS may have spent more time on the ball, but Girona FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
