Carlo Sánchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew De la Torre in the 10th minute of play forced HORTALEZA FC's goalkeeper Carlo Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HORTALEZA FC's Carlo Sánchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Astudillo in the 11th minute of play. Salelles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentín Buenafuente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Vladimir March recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlo Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Astudillo in the 38th minute of play. Yvon Manzano struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ahmed Venon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HORTALEZA FC.

The wind increased when Paulino Marin made the kick off in the second half. HORTALEZA FC's Carlo Sánchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save HORTALEZA FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to HORTALEZA FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Romeo Torrente hit a great ball. Juan Guerrero hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Matthew De la Torre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salelles's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew De la Torre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Sánchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlo Sánchez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fidel Astudillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 62 minute of play. Matthew De la Torre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlo Sánchez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ahmed Venon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Balboa in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salelles's Mero Pascua got a free kick in the 79th minute. Paulino Marin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Carlo Sánchez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, HORTALEZA FC's Carlo Sánchez got control of the ball when Paulino Marin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmed Venon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Torrente in the 86th minute of the match. Carlo Sánchez was a little too slow when Fidel Astudillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-4. Ahmed Venon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Torrente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes of play, Salelles's Matthew De la Torre made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlo Sánchez was left in no man's land by his defense there!
