In the 43rd minute, Riemannian's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after David Baltanas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 44th match minute, Riemannian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias March to maneuver through the defense.

After some careless play in the Riemannian defense, David Baltanas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Fernandez. The Riemannian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Fernandez should have stopped the shot. If Lain Obis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. Dorio Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Aranzubia having to interfere. In the 71st minute, David Baltanas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, David Baltanas notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Riemannian's Severino Fernandez. Severino Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Riemannian were furious when Milton Feria was red carded, 76 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 75 minutes into the game, one of Riemannian:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Severino Fernandez had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Andrés-Fernando Navarro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. David Baltanas took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Fernandez. Severino Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Severino Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Baltanas in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Vetusta's Lain Obis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolás Rua during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severino Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Fernandez came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vetusta's David Baltanas. But to his dismay, David Baltanas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The corner led Vetusta's Andrés-Fernando Navarro to fire away a dangerous shot which Severino Fernandez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Vetusta support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
