Bero Galdamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Santos in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Coronel Ponce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Sabina. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Sabina should have stopped the shot. Benigno Sabina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Ponce in the 14th minute of the match. Fuerzas Armadas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Calle Hellström scored to the left of an out of position Bero Galdamez, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Luis Santos hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Coronel Maroto made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Sabina. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Benigno Sabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Valdivia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Maroto came free, but Benigno Sabina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Sabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Boca Juniors's Benigno Sabina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coronel Ponce in the 47th minute of play. The Boca Juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fuerzas Armadas were winning 2-3.

54 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Benigno Sabina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Coronel Valdivia. After 57 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Luis Santos made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bero Galdamez was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Benigno Sabina got control of the ball when Llin De la Torre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calle Hellström took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bero Galdamez. Bero Galdamez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. 75 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Benigno Sabina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Coronel Ponce. Bero Galdamez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germán Alonso in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Ponce in the 81st minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Benigno Sabina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Fuerzas Armadas's protests and gave Samuel Diaz a yellow card for diving instead. Benigno Sabina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Ponce in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boca Juniors fully deserved thier win.
