Caton Carballido kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Benigno Sabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hurko Mudarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Nesor Maestro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Benigno Sabina made a huge save. Luis Santos took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised León Gala. León Gala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Real Llull de Reus's León Gala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Hellström in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Real Llull de Reus booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breixo Casero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Real Llull de Reus got a freekick which was hit by Nesor Maestro. In the 45th minute Germán Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but León Gala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calle Hellström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
