Valentín santillana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Juan Vacas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC CHIVA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hondo Palacios's late challenge caught a A.D. Alcorcón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hondo Palacios helped the player get up and apologised. 15 minutes into the game, A.D. Alcorcón's Apoena Izquierdo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrés Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FC CHIVA's Andrés Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felip Japón in the 18th minute of play. Sergi Sabina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Colsa in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of FC CHIVA booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apoena Izquierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th play minute Fortunato Amer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Andrés Torres. 2-1. Sergi Sabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Colsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Amerigo Batuecas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Torres having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, FC CHIVA's Cresenciano Moya made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergi Sabina was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Juan Vacas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC CHIVA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Andrés Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Batuecas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrés Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apoena Izquierdo in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amerigo Batuecas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Felip Japón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 minutes FC CHIVA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valentín santillana who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Felip Japón managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in FC CHIVA's zone, Fortunato Amer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrés Torres came out of the goal and Fortunato Amer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Mendebal Garzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergi Sabina came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by FC CHIVA's Cresenciano Moya. But to his dismay, Cresenciano Moya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Valentín santillana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrés Torres having to make a save. Andrés Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentín santillana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felip Japón in the 84th minute of play forced FC CHIVA's goalkeeper Andrés Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Apoena Izquierdo notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of FC CHIVA's Andrés Torres. Andrés Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the match, FC CHIVA's goal looked a bit too open when Valentín santillana came free, but Andrés Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amerigo Batuecas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrés Torres was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The A.D. Alcorcón supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC CHIVA's performance. The match ended with a win for FC CHIVA.
