Tobiasr Sainz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Vacas in the 24th minute of the match. Rigoberto Erosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Andrés Torres made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, FC CHIVA's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Erosa came free, but Andrés Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, FC CHIVA's goalkeeper Andrés Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Erosa. After 41 minutes of play, FC CHIVA's Gerardo Colsa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobiasr Sainz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 played minutes Hispania got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Cuervas. If Xurxo Canal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC CHIVA booed when Hispania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincente Zapater didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Lordi Jimenez came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Hispania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lordi Jimenez couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC CHIVA's Cresenciano Moya got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gerardo Colsa came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tobiasr Sainz could save by the left post. FC CHIVA's Andrés Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Erosa in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC CHIVA's Hondo Palacios got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Erosa in the 81st minute of play forced FC CHIVA's goalkeeper Andrés Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC CHIVA's Andrés Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Erosa in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC CHIVA's Cresenciano Moya got a free kick in the 94th minute. Rigoberto Erosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Hispania players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
