The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when Almazarrón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Arroyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jocelyn Angloma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Donato Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Aris Kounadakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aris Kounadakis in the 48th minute of play forced Almazarrón's goalkeeper Donato Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aris Kounadakis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Aris Kounadakis got a free kick in the 51st minute. Allan Holm hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Donato Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aris Kounadakis in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Almazarrón's zone, Aris Kounadakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Matorin came out of the goal and Aris Kounadakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aris Kounadakis got free with Donato Matorin in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Leandro Dulce fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almazarrón's protests and gave Leandro Dulce a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Dulce hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Almazarrón's goalkeeper Donato Matorin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aris Kounadakis. Aris Kounadakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Donato Matorin made a huge save. The referee showed Barto Arratia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Barto Arratia. The supporters of Almazarrón booed when Tirant lo Blanch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball.
