With a little luck, AC Guadalajara's Valdo Reyes got control of the ball when Seve Dobale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unai Calatayuds short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Valdo Reyes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 9 minutes in the game Medardo Teruel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Humberto Carrasco. Andoitz Riells recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seve Dobale might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdo Reyes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seve Dobale ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seve Dobale got free with Valdo Reyes in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oriol Ribas made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Filiberto Paredes however managed to control. Valdo Reyes was a little too slow when Unai Calatayud got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, one of AC Guadalajara:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Valdo Reyes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Seve Dobale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Reyes having to interfere. When Atlético Ourense's Seve Dobale in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Guadalajara's goalie prevented a goal. Valdo Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unai Calatayud, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, AC Guadalajara's Benjamin Perpiñán got a free kick in the 34th minute. Valdo Reyes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seve Dobale went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 38 minutes into the match, Seve Dobale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdo Reyes. AC Guadalajara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seve Dobale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Filiberto Paredes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Seve Dobale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Seve Dobale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Ourense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Guadalajara fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Seve Dobale scored 7-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdo Reyes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 68 minutes of play, Atlético Ourense's Seve Dobale made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdo Reyes was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Atlético Ourense getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Unai Calatayud hit a great ball. If Dubardo Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Guadalajara's goalkeeper Valdo Reyes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, AC Guadalajara's goal looked a bit too open when Seve Dobale came free, but Valdo Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Seve Dobale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Ourense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Valdo Reyes came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Ourense's Unai Calatayud. But to his dismay, Unai Calatayud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 95th minute, Andoitz Riells got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Atlético Ourense booed when AC Guadalajara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lander Caminero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Ourense walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
