Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakes Jurado to make the kick off. Agapito Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Llorca, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With an all-out effort, FCSB CUENCA's Diagur Infante threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vitin Domingo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Isaac Santalla got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. One of FCSB CUENCA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fesport FC:s goal. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Fesport FC. Alvaro Beloki stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Agapito Blanco. 2-1. After a rather tough play, FCSB CUENCA's Marcio Carreira got a free kick in the 71st minute. Vitin Domingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fesport FC.
