The audience was convinced that Gav Smith's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerrold Valcarcel was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Spartak de Txurdi's goal looked a bit too open when Seve Dobale came free, but Mikolaj Grunwalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unai Calatayud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Grunwalski made a huge save. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liberto Merino to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikolaj Grunwalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unai Calatayud, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 58 minutes of play, Atlético Ourense's Seve Dobale made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikolaj Grunwalski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th match minute, Atlético Ourense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Soler to maneuver through the defense. Spartak de Txurdi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
