An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Pujol in the 4th minute of play forced Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Mikolaj Grunwalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Horacio Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikolaj Grunwalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Zărnescu in the 9th minute of the match. Mikolaj Grunwalski came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by FCSB CUENCA's Marcio Carreira. But to his dismay, Marcio Carreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 13 minutes, Felix Zărnescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCSB CUENCA and the Spartak de Txurdi players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gav Smith in the 20th minute of play forced FCSB CUENCA's goalkeeper Agapito Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Pujol got free with Mikolaj Grunwalski in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gav Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agapito Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gav Smith in the 36th minute of the match. Spartak de Txurdi's Mikolaj Grunwalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Pujol in the 40th minute of play. Agapito Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gav Smith in the 47th minute of the match.

52 minutes into the match, Spartak de Txurdi's goal looked a bit too open when Marcio Carreira came free, but Mikolaj Grunwalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Gav Smith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Agapito Blanco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mikolaj Grunwalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcio Carreira in the 59th minute of the match. Agapito Blanco made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gav Smith sent off a good shot on target. Spartak de Txurdi's Gav Smith got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gav Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FCSB CUENCA's Marcio Carreira in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spartak de Txurdi's goalie prevented a goal. FCSB CUENCA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Pujol in the 72nd minute. FCSB CUENCA's Cipriano Morales was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mikolaj Grunwalski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 75 minutes into the match, Marcio Carreira notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Spartak de Txurdi's Mikolaj Grunwalski. Mikolaj Grunwalski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agapito Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gav Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gav Smith scored 2-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agapito Blanco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Spartak de Txurdi's Mikolaj Grunwalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Pujol in the 84th minute of play. Agapito Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gav Smith in the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, FCSB CUENCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Santalla to maneuver through the defense. Agapito Blanco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gav Smith. After a rather tough play, FCSB CUENCA's Isaac Santalla got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Liberto Merino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Agapito Blanco. That made the score 2-4 in the 95 minute of play.
