Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kees Koole made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes of play, Revenge's Harry Zuurman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Joost Smeekes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stef Pragt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. Jan-Joost Smeekes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Berend Hermensen. Jan-Joost Smeekes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kees Koole in the 9th minute. When Revenge's Berend Hermensen in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seagulls's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute of the match, Kees Koole got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan-Joost Smeekes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Carsten Klaasens hit a great ball. After 17 minutes of play, Revenge's Berend Hermensen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Joost Smeekes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Berend Hermensen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Revenge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kees Koole in the 23rd minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kees Koole in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Ralf Talsma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seagulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Revenge the free kick. In the 25th minute, Ralf Talsma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Seagulls booed when Revenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harry Zuurman got free with Jan-Joost Smeekes in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Joost Smeekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berend Hermensen in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Gio Geerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Joost Smeekes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berend Hermensen went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the game, Harry Zuurman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Harry Zuurman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Kees Koole took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Buys kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Joost Smeekes. That made the score 7-0 in the 43 minute of play. Berend Hermensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Joost Smeekes having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The wind increased when Ralf Talsma made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Seagulls defense, Berend Hermensen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. The Seagulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Joost Smeekes should have stopped the shot. 9-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Kees Koole elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jan-Joost Smeekes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Chucho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Harry Zuurman notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the game, Harry Zuurman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Jan-Joost Smeekes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Steven Palsma made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Seagulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Berend Hermensen took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Joost Smeekes. Jan-Joost Smeekes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. After a defensive mix-up in Seagulls's zone, Berend Hermensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Joost Smeekes came out of the goal and Berend Hermensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Zuurman in the 79th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Jan-Joost Smeekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seagulls's Jan-Joost Smeekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berend Hermensen in the 84th minute of play. Prudencio Chucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Joost Smeekes having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Berend Hermensen came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Zuurman came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Joost Smeekes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Kees Koole made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Joost Smeekes. Seagulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-0. There was no doubt that Revenge were the better team. Revenge's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
