Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berend Hermensen in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kees Koole got free with Jean-Paul Daalmeyer in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berend Hermensen in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Palsma came free, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerard van den Eede got free with Aleksandr Vasyutin in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
