Meindert Janus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Oosterbaan in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Co van Zalen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meindert Janus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Boca Gregorian Juniors's Willem Nijemanting got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Donald Wagenaar came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Flashdynamica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald Wagenaar couldn't finish the play. Luis Viejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rik Heubach, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ronaldo-Luís Bubber kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Rik Heubach sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Boca Gregorian Juniors's Luis Viejo didn't even have to move. After 40 played minutes Boca Gregorian Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Joop Jurjens. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Dries Aalst got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rik Heubach was slow to take the kick. During this time Flashdynamica's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rik Heubach almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boca Gregorian Juniors's Luis Viejo did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dries Aalst made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Boca Gregorian Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Oosterbaan to maneuver through the defense. Luis Viejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rik Heubach in the 57th minute of play. Meindert Janus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Oosterbaan went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The tension between the Flashdynamica and the Boca Gregorian Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Flashdynamica got a freekick which was hit by Koos Lurling. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Luis Viejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dries Aalst in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
