Juan Ayuso might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Hendrik Kregel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Ayuso ran back to his position shaking his head. SCs StarS's Jan Hendrik Kregel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ayuso in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Donny Dongen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCs StarS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donny Dongen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Hilhorst in the 6th minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SCs StarS's Jan Hendrik Kregel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Hilhorst in the 8th minute of play. Jan Hendrik Kregel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Hilhorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes, Juan Ayuso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Decathlon Dudes and the SCs StarS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Juan Ayuso hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilco Keldermans. The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when SCs StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastiaan Hofland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Hendrik Kregel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Ayuso in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Hilhorst in the 20th minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Decathlon Dudes's Daan Wegman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Hendrik Kregel. Jan Hendrik Kregel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Ayuso. SCs StarS's Jan Hendrik Kregel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save SCs StarS from getting a goal against them. Jan Hendrik Kregel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Ayuso in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Decathlon Dudes got a corner. SCs StarS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luuk Theunissen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jan Hendrik Kregel came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Decathlon Dudes's Juan Ayuso. But to his dismay, Juan Ayuso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 34th minute, Daan Wegman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan Hendrik Kregel. The goal made the score 3-0. Jan Hendrik Kregel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Hilhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Simon Hilhorst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Hilhorst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Hendrik Kregel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Hendrik Kregel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Bergmeester in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Carels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Donny Dongen could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which César Sousa however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Bergmeester in the 54th minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Simon Hilhorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Hendrik Kregel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Ayuso in the 63rd minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Hendrik Kregel came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Decathlon Dudes's Simon Hilhorst. But to his dismay, Simon Hilhorst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 68 minutes into the match, Daan Wegman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Hendrik Kregel. SCs StarS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daan Wegman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Jan Hendrik Kregel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ayuso in the 71st minute of play. Evert Oorthuis hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Simon Hilhorst notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of SCs StarS's Jan Hendrik Kregel. Jan Hendrik Kregel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, SCs StarS's Sebastiaan Hofland got a free kick in the 77th minute. Daan Wegman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Daan Wegman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Decathlon Dudes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The supporters of SCs StarS booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harmen Hilkes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Wilco Keldermans made a precise shot to the right of Jan Hendrik Kregel. SCs StarS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Jan Hendrik Kregel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ayuso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Decathlon Dudes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
