Pieter Beuk made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Donny Dongen sent off a good shot on target. Jan Hendrik Kregel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ab Berends, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jan Hendrik Kregel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roelof van Kampen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Joop van der Schaaf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jan Hendrik Kregel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Donny Dongen came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SCs StarS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donny Dongen couldn't finish the play. After 24 played minutes SCs StarS got a freekick which was hit by Sebastiaan Hofland. Roelof van Kampen scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Hendrik Kregel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalbert Oblakov in the 31st minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pieter-Jan Wehkamp charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pieter-Jan Wehkamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SCs StarS getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pieter-Jan Wehkamp hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Adalbert Oblakov came free, but Jan Hendrik Kregel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joop van der Schaaf in the 41st minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SCs StarS's Jan Hendrik Kregel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roelof van Kampen in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

52 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Kregel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Boschker. Pieter-Jan Wehkamp was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Pieter-Jan Wehkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Adalbert Oblakov made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Hendrik Kregel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Job Wilhelm to maneuver through the defense. SCs StarS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adalbert Oblakov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The supporters of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn booed when SCs StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Oorthuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Roelof van Kampen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan Hendrik Kregel. That made the score 0-8 after 80 minutes of play. Jan Hendrik Kregel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop van der Schaaf in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Roelof van Kampen came free, but Jan Hendrik Kregel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Hendrik Kregel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10.
