Ger Tollenaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daan Wegman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gijsbert Bults charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gijsbert Bults the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christijan van Asseldonk to make the kick off. Wilco Keldermans kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when Albertus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijsbert Bults didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jan Hendrik Weken fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albertus FC's protests and gave Jan Hendrik Weken a yellow card for diving instead. Decathlon Dudes's Ronny Schild was substituted for Daan Wegman. In the 89th match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Hendrik Weken to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Decathlon Dudes's Luuk Theunissen tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match was over Decathlon Dudes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Albertus FC throughout the match.
