The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruud Geels was the one to do the kick off. Jan Hendrik Kregel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruud Geels in the 51st minute of the match. SCs StarS's Sebastiaan Hofland got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Sebastiaan Hofland off the ground. After 55 minutes of play, Verwachting's Oscar Vaalman made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Hendrik Kregel was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SCs StarS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Wilfred Deuring hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Oscar Vaalman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Zoontjens got free with Jan Hendrik Kregel in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SCs StarS's Jan Hendrik Kregel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Vaalman in the 81st minute of play. In the 88th minute, Ruud Geels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Hendrik Kregel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Jan Hendrik Kregel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud Geels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Hendrik Kregel was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Oscar Vaalman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oscar Vaalman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Verwachting's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
