Ege Vecih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurens Erenstein in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Martien Stühling notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ágætis Byrjun's Maraman Reitsma. Maraman Reitsma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ege Vecih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Borker in the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ágætis Byrjun's Maraman Reitsma got control of the ball when Martien Stühling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maraman Reitsma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martien Stühling in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Albert Heebels reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maraman Reitsma. The goal made the score 2-0. Ege Vecih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Borker, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Albert Heebels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maraman Reitsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Heebels came free, but Maraman Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martien Stühling in the 32nd minute of play. Maraman Reitsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martien Stühling in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Marc Plagge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martien Stühling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Maraman Reitsma made a huge save. Laurens Erenstein took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ege Vecih. Ege Vecih dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laurens Erenstein to make the kick off. Ágætis Byrjun's Laurens Erenstein got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ted Borker hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martien Stühling in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Ton Kort rounded AC Pitt Bier's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Maraman Reitsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Literski, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Heebels in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maraman Reitsma saved Ágætis Byrjun from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Martien Stühling came free, but Maraman Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, AC Pitt Bier's goal looked a bit too open when Laurens Erenstein came free, but Ege Vecih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ágætis Byrjun's Arnout Boswijk was substituted for Ton Kort. Ágætis Byrjun's Paul van Mol was substituted for Laurens Erenstein. AC Pitt Bier's Kevin de Jager was substituted for Ferry Temen. Hieronim Literski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maraman Reitsma having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
