Naci Ünüvar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Thomas Bessing. After 7 played minutes S.C. Potentia got a freekick which was hit by Erik Rensenbrink. In the 11th minute, Kristján Kipper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Potentia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jonathan van der Werff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristján Kipper's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Naci Ünüvar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mika Nurmela in the 14th minute of the match. Fernando Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Mika Nurmela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naci Ünüvar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan van der Werff having to interfere. A collision led to Who Ate All Depay getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pascal Hesp hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Erik Rensenbrink shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan van der Werff showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. John van der Werff kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. S.C. Potentia were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Who Ate All Depay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geale van den Brink took the corner. S.C. Potentia's Adam Messi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan van der Werff in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute, Cobus van Damme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes, S.C. Potentia's Geale van den Brink shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan van der Werff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C. Potentia reached it. In the 39thth minute of the game Mika Nurmela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Potentia's Naci Ünüvar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naci Ünüvar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mika Nurmela's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Who Ate All Depay's goalkeeper Jonathan van der Werff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute of the match, Mika Nurmela tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Naci Ünüvar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 46 minutes into the game, Who Ate All Depay's Henny Meijer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naci Ünüvar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristján Kipper made a kick off. Kristján Kipper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Who Ate All Depay's John van der Werff got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jonathan van der Werff was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kristján Kipper showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goal looked a bit too open when Mika Nurmela came free, but Naci Ünüvar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Kristján Kipper dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan van der Werff, 1-3. The supporters of Who Ate All Depay booed when S.C. Potentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregor Ranzijn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Who Ate All Depay's Osama Sahraoui was substituted for Gertjan de Boer. A collision led to S.C. Potentia getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gregor Ranzijn hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match John van der Werff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naci Ünüvar skillfully saved the ball. Naci Ünüvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mika Nurmela, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ronny Roewen's late challenge caught a Who Ate All Depay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Roewen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Ronny Roewen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goal looked a bit too open when Osama Sahraoui came free, but Naci Ünüvar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristján Kipper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan van der Werff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kristján Kipper kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan van der Werff. That made the score 1-4 in the 90 minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Mika Nurmela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Naci Ünüvar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
