Handi Harri kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Lemel SV's Tonny Sneijder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Eddy Niemeyer threw the ball into play from the sideline. NFC Eagles 22's Freek Saarloos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 13th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Masker to maneuver through the defense. Lemel SV's Raymond Bos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib van der Gun in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Edward Verbeek. Huib van der Gun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Raymond Bos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Masker in the 26th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Robert-Jan Hermensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert-Jan Hermensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Masker in the 26th minute of the match. Giovanni Rademaker's late challenge caught a Lemel SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Rademaker helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Rademaker to maneuver through the defense. NFC Eagles 22's Robert-Jan Hermensen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Masker in the 28th minute of play. Robert-Jan Hermensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Masker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tonny Sneijder scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert-Jan Hermensen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tonny Sneijder went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Falco Boerma kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Huib van der Gun. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eddy Niemeyer during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Niemeyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymond Bos made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Handi Harri sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes of play, Lemel SV's Edward Verbeek made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert-Jan Hermensen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Huib van der Gun was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Huib van der Gun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Freek Saarloos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Tonny Sneijder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert-Jan Hermensen skillfully saved the ball. Robert-Jan Hermensen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonny Sneijder in the 55th minute of play. Edward Verbeek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert-Jan Hermensen came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Verbeek slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 58th minute. Robert-Jan Hermensen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tonny Sneijder in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lemel SV's goalkeeper Raymond Bos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robert-Jan Hermensen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barry Masker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 72 minute of play. In the 78th minute, Edward Verbeek made a precise shot to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen. NFC Eagles 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Lemel SV's Raymond Bos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib van der Gun in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Giovanni Rademaker got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
