An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Solis in the 17th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Raymond Bos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lemel SV's Raymond Bos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Solis in the 18th minute of play. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Roelofs in the 22nd minute of play. Raymond Bos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Solis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels-Jan Carels to maneuver through the defense. Raymond Bos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barry Masker was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Guido Solis lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Raymond Bos. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jan Sterenberg hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Solis got free with Raymond Bos in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bill Geerds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Masker in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Masker in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bill Geerds saved Osdorp FC from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Elmar Neijsen put in a rough tackle. Maarten Grol might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raymond Bos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maarten Grol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute Osdorp FC were awarded a corner. Maarten Grol went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Dirk Wiersma managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lemel SV's Raymond Bos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Lemel SV from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Tonny Sneijder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Osdorp FC's Raymond Bos threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gert Brandsma, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Koos Teunissen kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Evert Roelofs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Raymond Bos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raymond Bos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Løset in the 89th minute of the match. The Lemel SV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
