Stefan Wotte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Robert-Jan Hermensen made a huge save. Robert-Jan Hermensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan van Aalderen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Nathan van Aalderen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of NFC Eagles 22's Robert-Jan Hermensen. Robert-Jan Hermensen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. NFC Eagles 22's Robert-Jan Hermensen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. Robert-Jan Hermensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mirko Mussies in the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Huib van der Gun managed to get in a good position for a shot. NFC Eagles 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Huib van der Gun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Werner Kamps breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Werner Kamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huib van der Gun, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Nathan van Aalderen made a precise shot to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen. NFC Eagles 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacco Klijnstra got free with Robert-Jan Hermensen in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bierunese's Werner Kamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenik de Vos in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Maurice Spiering hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Werner Kamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huib van der Gun, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Huib van der Gun was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Pieter Denneboom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bierunese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NFC Eagles 22 the free kick. In the 50th minute, Pieter Denneboom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huib van der Gun in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Werner Kamps prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the game, Jacco Klijnstra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Robert-Jan Hermensen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacco Klijnstra in the 60th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Robert-Jan Hermensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Maurice Spiering. After 63 minutes of play, Bierunese's Jacco Klijnstra made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert-Jan Hermensen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute Jacco Klijnstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert-Jan Hermensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NFC Eagles 22's Robert-Jan Hermensen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacco Klijnstra in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan van Aalderen came free, but Robert-Jan Hermensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert-Jan Hermensen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacco Klijnstra went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan van Aalderen came free, but Robert-Jan Hermensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert-Jan Hermensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacco Klijnstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni Rademaker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Werner Kamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huib van der Gun in the 81st minute of play. Jacco Klijnstra scored 9-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Nathan van Aalderen made a precise shot to the right of Robert-Jan Hermensen. NFC Eagles 22's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. NFC Eagles 22's Robert-Jan Hermensen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folker Legdeur in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Bierunese got a freekick which was hit by Stef Warneke. There was no doubt that Bierunese were the better team. Bierunese's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
